This Week is National Farm Safety and Health Week

Despite an annual decline in the number farming-related fatalities, agriculture remains one of the most dangerous industries in the United States, according to a report recently released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. National Farm Safety and Health Week is an annual reminder to be responsible on the farm, especially as harvest approaches.

Channel urges growers to take some time this week to review tips for keeping themselves and their families safe. These OSHA resources offer practical advice for farm safety. Farm Safety For Just Kids offers educational resources for the next generation of America’s farmers.
