What are the benefits of a post-harvest weed management plan?

Post-harvest or the fall application of herbicide to help control weeds is a very useful tool that a lot of guys in my area have started to use. It really helps suppress all those winter annuals, you know, come the spring. And then also for guys that are doing their own application. You get to the spring of the year, and the workload gets very intense and very large. And it kind of helps spread that workload a little bit. So, they're not trying to make multiple passes on every acre in the springtime of the year. You get one of those passes out in the way, and that really helps to have a clean start to the year.
