The Illinois corn crop seems to be about 10 percent off of last year, says Daniel Lundeen, Channel agronomist. His territory starts at the Illinois-Wisconsin border to near U.S. Route 136. “It’s pointing toward 2013, which was a pretty good year, not a great year, Lundeen says in an Illinois AGRINEWS article. “It’s still an unknown on the soybean side. We could be above the five-year average and maybe close to last year’s average on some soybean fields.”
