Since it was first identified in the U.S. in 2015, a fungus known as tar spot has continued to infiltrate the Midwest. With above-average moisture this spring, farmers should be on the lookout for the disease. Thankfully, there are practices farmers can implement, including earlier fungicide application, that offer the best ROI potential.
